Bernie,

That is MSRP for the calibration to be applied by our retailers.

Best,
Justin

I got my truck tuned last Friday and it’s night and day difference. I had my 3rd gen tuned with OTT also. Not only is the extra power very noticeable, but the transmission shifting is really refined to about perfect. Where I really noticed the tune and how smooth the power delivery actually comes on, is when I was going 70 on the highway and had to slow down to 40 coming into town for a short distance and then the speed bumps back up to 70 again. When I went from 40 and back to 70 I really payed attention to my boost gauge to see if the tune was just going to throw more boost to get up to speed. My boost gauge did not shoot up like I thought it would, but my truck was moving way faster than the stock tune did before. What I’m saying is, there’s definetly timing added to the tune and not just more boost added. The truck is a riot to drive now and probably one of the most favorite trucks I’ve owned so far. If you look at the dyno numbers with the tune, it’s making V8 numbers and the engine is not screaming doing it either. I get a kick out of reading the comments on some of the YouTube videos I’ve watched saying high strung turbo 4cyl and how they are not going to hold up. Still trying to figure out the high strung part, because these trucks make power at lower rpm’s and the engine is built pretty robust. The only thing you’ll regret is that you’d wish you have got the tune sooner.

I'm already happy with my trucks performance but looking forward to hear more about real world hybrid experiences.

Same here. I'd really like to see some more aggressive use of the electric motor to help squeeze more gas mileage out of it during both highway driving and around town. As is, I'm getting 24+ just city driving and can pretty much stay in all electric when driving in my neighborhood. I know there are limits based on battery size and electric motor output, but seems there should more that can be done in that area!

I just got my 2024 TRD Off Road premium Tacoma tune in Edmonton, Alberta for $960.00 Canadian just last week. It is the single most improvement in overall performance for the truck. It is well worth the cost in my experience.

I’ve had the OTT tune now for a while and it’s been great. The extra power makes the truck so much more enjoyable! Check out my video on it.

I also had the tune and LOVE it! Like the other guy said, it's night and day. So much fun driving it. It was fun before but it's just incredible now. I got it done traveling across the states so it got put to the test. I spent a day in the Rockies on canyon roads and high desert and it excelled. These guys are legit and very knowledgeable. Just do it. 650 was what I was charged. The guy wouldn't even take a tip.

Agree. I'm getting around 20 mpg, mostly around town with some short highway miles. I'm running 35 psi in the tires. I haven't had a chance to really see what I can squeeze out on longer trips. While I understand that the hybrid system is more of a power adder than a mileage booster, I would’ve liked to see ECO mode function as a true ECO—one that prioritizes fuel economy a bit more, like my wife's RX450h does.

I see a lot of non-hybrid Tacomas getting this tune. Are there any Hybrids out there that have received the OTT Tune? I'd like to hear about those experiences and what if anything positive that came from it related to fuel economy.

I kinda feel the Hybrid already has plenty of torque and power, so other than mild improvements to the transmission performance, I trying to justify the price tag in my mind! If it would get me a consistent 25-27 MPG city/highway, then I think I'd be in for giving it a try. I plan on leaving my truck pretty stock (no bolt on performance parts like intake, exhaust or turbo parts) so the driveline would remain bone stock, other than the tune. Thanks...

Yep, my wife has a 2025 Camry and I love how it can go a really long distance on straight EV at lower speeds. A little more of that out of the Tacoma Hybrid system would be great! Even to where the electric engine stays engaged from a stop to around 30-40 MPH when leaving a stop light, and holding EV for longer distances at lower speeds (30 MPH and below). Like you, I'd like it to only significantly impact ECO Mode, so Normal and Sport/Sport+ could remain the same, or get the added benefits of a more performance oriented tune. Am I asking too much? I maybe, but it never hurts to ask!
