I attached my mountain bike 1UP Quik Rack to my trailer hitch but I am unable to back out of my driveway because the brakes keep slamming on. I don't see any buttons to disable the system.

This is one example of too much safety sense tech. Out of the box it’s too sensitive and has engaged unnecessarily many times. I’ve turned off most of the electronic Nannie’s because of this.

Two options with the bike rack on. You can back up slowly with your foot on the brake. The truck will still flash the brake warning however. Annoying!!!
Second and best IMHO, and as mentioned above is to disable the PKSB in the setting menu. You'll have a little truck symbol in the lower right of the dash as a reminder that the parking assist is disabled.
I do this every time I put my bike rack on, which is frequently.

maybe this function is not availabe on the prerunner..i have searched all over for it
Not to be flippant, owners manual? If yourctruck is slamming on the brakes when, and only when, your bike rack is on, it has to be somewhere. Good luck as it's annoying as he!!.

Does your Prerunner have the upgrade package? Sounds like it does. Did you watch the video earlier in this thread?
