Hybrid owner as well. Only 1400 miles on the odo, but I’ve not experienced a similar behavior. You can bet I’ll be paying more attention, though.

I noticed a creep forward when OR is on battery then engine kicks in with a lurch foward. Scary and alarming.

I’ve noticed it also.

2700 mile TH, not in the TSB recall. Doubt this is transmission related anyways. Honestly, feels more like a calibration issue… I had also blamed/doubted my braking consistency at times— till this post at least.

Come to a stop, ICE turns off & battery motor only on, starts to creep forward and i need to apply additional brake pressure.

Has happened on more than one occasion… no surging in my case though, just a roll.
Has caught me off guard though in a couple drive thrus.

My best guess? The ICE on idle isn't putting out the same amount of TQ as the electric at the same brake position.

The electric motor/electric only map kicks on … requiring more brake input due to the inconsistency in TQ output.

For reference sake—My other cars are an AP1 s2000 and a Golf R on st-60 stoptechs. I mention this because those brakes are sensitive by comparison, thus the assumption (and still might be) of not applying enough pressure.

I also think the brakes aren't great anyways on this thing, but again, my basis for comparison is skewed and limited, so I give it a pass — my wife's palisade does inspire more confidence though.

I notice a little* wonkiness on rare occasion in ECO Mode. I think there's something up with ECO mode, uses the turbo a lot, there's some serious tuning & efficiency parameters that could be addressed with this mode, especially on the hybrids.

Much smoother drive and cleaner at/off the stop light in Normal & Sport.
