Just picked up my 2024 TRD Pro. Traded my 2002 1st gen that I've had since new.

It has a truck bed, (maybe a shorter one) and will do most the same work, unless you towing a lot. I say the same thing about my old ā€˜98 K1500, it had a 6.5ā€™ bed with a 6500 lb tow rating.
My expensive new Tacoma will have a 6ā€™ bed and towing rating of 6500 lbs. it will do the same work.
Not 60k worth better, lol.

Love your truck @B-52 Gunner. My truck is your truck's twin but held hostage by Toyota in Mexico.

I know that there is a whole lot of difference between that iconic 1st gen and this Pro. But I also think that the core goodness of a Taco carries through from one to the other.

That is what makes the 4th gen so special for me. A complete and total redo of a much respected truck, but at heart it is still the Tacoma that we have always loved.

Enjoy and let us know what you think. You are in a perfect place to evaluate if what I said is true or total bs. :)

How tall are you? Iā€™m 6ā€™5ā€ so Iā€™m curious how youā€™re finding the fit.
