Just received a build date for my Trailhunter allocation! Standard features confirmed...

That's still within my spec, albeit barely.

If the rule for towing is 80% of capacity, I'm there but barely. I was factoring 75% for a bit of wiggle room. Car is 3100, trailer is 1600, and that gives me 4700. 80% of 6000 is 4800. Looks like I won't be bringing a spare set of track wheels.

This video review might put your mind at ease. 5000lb oversize camper with no weight distribution hitch and he has no issues.

Also worth noting that 80% rule may be outdated. Since 2012, manufacturers have to follow an SAE standard for tow ratings that ensures that even if the trailer brakes fail, the truck can safely control the trailer (among other requirements).

Mine does, unfortunately I think most dealers get what Toyota gives and I don’t even think the dealers have a say on what kind of build they want allocated. Color, bed size, options other than the standard ones. Who know, definitely let us know when you get yours though!

I think you need to wait for the truck to get built because I think the VIN is just temporary for allocation purposes. I could be wrong but I thought I saw somewhere on this forum people were having trouble looking up there VIN when there truck was being built?

Central Atlantic Toyota has not allocated any yet. Our region is a lot more conservative on allocations and they do this because during covid, we had a lot of vehicles that were pulled from production after they were allocated. CAT now waits until they have a "confirmed" build, rather than a planned build before allocating to us.

I did check and there are quite a few hybrids now in the pipeline but none for my region yet.

Any in the Las Vegas area that you can see sir?

Oof. I just saw another short boi for sale with $4,850 of dealer/port-installed options!

Those two mine also has. These mine does not:

Trailer Camera: $1,550
Bed Rack LD w/ Molle Pannels: $2,995

The "SmartPath Price" (whatever that means) on that truck is $69,254.



Mine says $65,489 which is close to what I calculated with options and delivery.

I saw on one of the hybrid driving event videos that one of the Toyota reps were talking about how the TH will NOT come with the moon roof. Probably just a website goof. Thats what I had heard last year, and they are still saying its not an option.
