Man, that really sucks. If there is a QC issue, then I guess it's good that they found it. Kind of an odd place to get stopped. I wonder if something happened during shipping.

Yeah I have no clue he said my truck was randomly picked but doubt thats how that works

Got the same update today from my dealer. My SR5 was supposed to be on rail 1/6 and arrive at dealer 1/22 - 1/29 but was told today that it has a "quality hold" and they were given no ETA.

This all seems so strange no dealers have any clue what's going on with built vehicles, especially no known guidance or communication from TMC? I'm starting to think there's an import issue without the EPA cert. Likely nothing actually to do with the vehicles themselves. Hopefully gets sorted soon!

Mine shows Dealer Hold. I think that means they have a deposit on the truck and it's basically sold. It probably shows the other dealers that it isn't available for trade.

Well, this is nowhere near as bad as Ford. I put my Ranger Raptor order in June and it’s still not scheduled. They were supposed to be in dealerships by the end of August and nobody seen one yet there hasn’t even been a press drive. If these get delayed for a week or so because of the EPA, that’s not a huge deal they’re still building the trucks.

Same. I’m in New York. Was just about to be placed on a boat and now it’s in QC. Kinda scary. Thinking I should maybe wait till they work out the bugs, but I got such a sick deal on an off-road black w heated seats ext. for exactly Msrp.

Any vehicle can hit QC. It could be a component in a batch of vins or it could be something cosmetic, like a panel that got a scratch from something or whatever. Regardless, better it is dealt with now versus having to deal with it under warranty.

It is why this level of detail of tracking a vehicle isn't typically shared with customers though. Customers aren't privy to what certain messages mean.
