I started experiencing a weird new bug about 2 weeks ago (might have been longer but that's when I started noticing it), just curious if anyone else with an Android has this same thing happening to them.

When I use the android app to remote start the truck, I get a random MAC address attempting to connect to my phone via BT. If I tap 'cancel', it goes away for about 5 seconds and then repeats forever. If I tap "connect", it fails and repeats the connection attempt. The only way to stop it is to reboot the phone.

When I use the key fob to remote start the truck, this issue does not happen.
If I'm not near the truck and I use the android app to remote start it, nothing happens. It's only when I'm relatively close to the truck, like when it's right in front of my house.

I've already deleted my phone from the truck's BT and reconnected everything but that didnt make a difference. I've also uninstalled/reinstalled the app. I've chalked it up to a bug in the Toyota app itself.

At this point, i'm just dealing with it but I'm curious if I'm the only one?

I also occasionally find my s22 has disconnected from the truck, and I have to click the slide on as well for Android Auto.

The latest issue I have found many also have via a reddit thread. Every 10 seconds a notification pops up "Toyota couldn't pair with digital key" and it will never stop. You either remove your phone as a digital key, turn off Bluetooth, or I found the best solution was to turn off all notifications from the Toyota app. It was incredibly obnoxious, I hope they fix it soon. I also don't need the app telling me my trucks unlocked all the time. I know it is, it's in my garage...
