I picked up the OEM larger mud flaps today PK389-35R50-p1. While at the dealership, i grabbed the US flap for comparison. PK389-35R00-p1. This pic shows the difference in width. I have +35 Methods and the US flaps missed covering the tread by about an inch. The PK389-35R50-p1 make up that difference.

If you do ANY kind of dirt road /off roading these flaps are garbage.
I realize the "Canadian" flaps are wider but the issue with all of the factory flaps is the gap between the bottom of the front flare and the top of the flap. I would seriously go aftermarket for way better coverage vs factory for the same money.
Trust me I'm Canadian!!! lol
How fast are you driving off road? The gap is well above the center of the wheel. Even with wind deflection, that's a tight turn to make.

my rokblokz still fling crusher dust onto my rear quarters, but it could be a hell of a lot worse (they're also not meant for the TRD Pro)

Wow...cool.
I think you missed my first post as to the fact I run a 285 on a stock rim so it's my problem I created.
I throw mud and dirt all over the side of my truck.
To answer your question tho....very fast.

I'm my eyes the Canadian ones are still shit. Why is there a gap between the bottom of the flair and the top of the flap? I get shit all over the side of my truck. I run a 285 on a stock OR rim so maybe it's my fault.
I have a set of RokBlokz sitting in my garage I have yet to install.
I guess the bottom of the flap is indeed wider but still a poor design on both products in my eyes.
Did you get the RokBlokz XL, normal, or rally? Curious how the RB's look on a stock OR Rim with 285...that's the tire size I want.

I haven't put them on yet...as it's- 200 degrees here and there is 4 ft of snow on the ground.
To answer your question I went the Rally style...from what I see on there web site there is enough coverage to handle a 285 on a stock offset.
I think the xl would be more appropriate with a bigger lift/offset/tire. Check out their website there are lots of pics on it.

I have the Canadian larger flaps and they still do not protect the rear quarters 100%. Definetly an improvement on the doors.

@24Canuck yeah same over here, -40c today! I drive a lot of gravel roads...thinking i might give the XL's a try. Really wish they would offer an XL rally version tbh.

@HCTacoGuy I think you definitely need the RokBlokz XL's! Would look awesome with your rim/tire setup. Also a set of RC HD2 running boards would help significantly

Go to the dealer or online and order this part number -> PK389-35R50-p1. They are right around 120$ for a set of 4. Dont get the PK389-35R00-p1, the 35R50's are about an inch wider front and back.
Doing that immediately. Thanks!

Do you know a reputable online dealer of OEM parts?

I have used Sparks Toyota many times and can recommend them. I was able to buy the Canadian flaps from my dealer and they had them in one day and without shipping the price was pretty much a wash.
