Yes sir! Our 2016-2023 Tacoma 3.5L calibration carries CARB EO D-883. We fully intend to have the 2024+ models follow along.

Looking to buy a 4th Gen taco soon.
Will this tune still work on regular fuel (87)? If yes, are there still benefits to the tune? Can it adapt to regular or premium fuel?

Im glad I found this post. Ive always hesitated to use a piggy back system (outside of the old Apex-i SAFC days).

I see target peak boost is being kept about the same, and increase wgdc to fix the taper. That will be great, really feel it fall off as you accelerate and makes for a rather boring drive. Ive read somewhere they run about 14psi, nothing crazy, I havent seen info on the turbo itself to see if its capable of much more without reduced life.

I would be interested in running this tune, am I able to use any logging software on my end to check on the tune (really like MHD setup)? Im located in Iowa, and guessing we dont have a local tuner with your programmer nearby sadly.

Looking forward to hearing how the tuning progresses.

Hey guys! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season!

It's been a while, but we've been hard at work with development. We're making progress and have the transmission details worked out giving us control by drive mode status and other developments. I wanted to drop in and remind everyone that we've not forgotten or slowed down our push to bring something fun and exciting to the 4G Tacoma!

If you're interested in a sneak peak of what's coming/possible with this platform, below is a run from a Beta file which is compatible with Regular through Premium grade fuel (This was done back-to-back w/ premium as the baseline). There is massive power potential relative to the previous generation's N/A engines. While this chart only shows WOT power, the calibration enhancements at part throttle are as as big or larger. There is a noticeable improvement in spool and part throttle torque.

Towing trials and data analysis have shown that the increase in torque available at part throttle can improve (lower) transmission temperatures, allowing the converter to stay locked or in a gear higher than it would have otherwise in stock form.

I think the best way I can summarize the current landscape for tuning the 4th Gen trucks would be: They don't necessarily "need" a tune like the 3rd Gen did, but what is possible, and what you can gain is 3-fold what was possible on any of the prior generation trucks. These things make 5.7L Tundra torque and horsepower tuned - in a midsize!

Are these graphs with proper 87 octane as the "regular" and are you using 91 or 93 as your premium.
