@Franko Manini There was a TH demo unit at a dealer I was at this weekend...had a couple thousand KM's on it. The front of the rear fender flare and adjacent paint was completely peppered and chipped. They were still asking full MSRP, complete with free paint chips! LOL

It's a simple matter of geometry. Stretch a string/rope/whatever you have from the tread where it meets the ground at the back of the front tire to your rear quarter panel. You will see that the string has a direct path under the mud flap straight to the quarter panel. Big flaps like the Rok Blokz or Canadian Toyota flaps will help, but no mud flap alone will keep the rocks from pelting that area in front of the rear wheel. To keep rock away period, you need a combination of large flaps and wide running boards.

My neighbor has a 6 foot bed Sport with chips and he doesn't even go off road.
I totally agree. I put the running boards on 2 weeks after I got it. (See post #20). Still have the skinny flaps, but I’ll most likely add better ones. Haven’t been on much gravel yet.

The splash guards / mud flaps that came on my truck are quite wide. Measured at their widest point, they are 10.5” wide. They stand outside the body panel quite wide and are even with the fender flares.
I like those and thanks for posting the pictures. I will definitely consider them if I find a source for them in the US, or a Canadian dealer I can order from. Thanks!

My truck is 2024 Trailhunter long bed.
Yes, please post a part number if you find it. My TH long bed came with the ridiculously small mudflaps as well. Very interested in these.

Looks awesome! I drive gravel, so I'm looking at the best options to install "day 1" of my new Tacoma. I'll probably remove the factory cast aluminum toyota boards and install a set of these RC's. Not sure how the factory Canada mudflaps compare to the RokBloks...but regardless I will be adding supplementary rubber flaps, attached to the brackets under the running board. Usually I do one on the first or second bracket (depending on the distance from front tire), and then another at the very rear of the running board. Done this for multiple trucks I have...really keeps the rocks and road rash down!
I'd love to see a few pictures of this installation when you're done. What kind of materials do you use to create the supplementary flaps?

What city was this in? Did you notice if it was a long/short bed? Did it have the big or small mud guards?

It's unbelievable what these dealerships try to get away with. I guess there's enough stupid consumers out there to take advantage of with their garbage.

Found the part number for the wider OEM mudflaps, set of 4. They seem to be widely available online. PK389-35R00-P1

Thanks! One of my goto online parts suppliers (Sparks Toyota) has them for $110, which is much cheaper than some of the aftermarket ones.

Do you know if these fit all of the trims? I see you have a TH, so I'm assuming they will also fit my Pro.

These should have come on our trucks from the factory and not the tiny jokes that came on my truck.

Said they fit the TH. I think earlier in this thread someone had them on their TH in Canada. Agreed, the ones that came stock with mine are a joke.

Thanks again. The TH and Pro have the same flairs I believe, so they should fit both trucks.

The pictures I have seen so far show them on Sports and Off-Roads, which have different flares.

I was referencing the below post. Now confident they will fit on the TH (and likely the Pro)!
