This is a long one, sorry guys!

Problem 1 -

2024 Tacoma Sport, bought last July. After 2 months roughly, I can feel slight vibration in front and back of truck. Through the wheel and foot pedals. Happens at different RPMs or speeds mainly around 45 to 50 kms. Toyota says they can't feel anything but several friends all feel it start to happen when I do. I feel as though my dealer is avoiding.

Problem 2
Started to happen in early December. I pulled to a drive through, I heard tapping (lifter/injection was what I thought). It's very loud and obvious, it speeds up at times. I know these engine make some chatter but this is the first time I heard this since owning it. I know it wasn't there at first.

Problem 3-
2 different times about a week apart, once in the driveway, just turned it on and the truck started to vibrate ALOT, screen was shaking, all the plastics were creeping and crackling, the seats were shaking aso much at this time. Co-worker who was with me made a joke "you sure this is a Toyota?". LoL. Anyways I tried to get my phone out, I had to step outside of my truck to access my pockets. When getting getting back in the truck with my phone recording, it started to quiet a little and eventually stopped. This happened again but I was at a drive though once more, and the same thing happened. Different co worker was with me that time.
It also didn't last quite as long as the other time.

Problem 4

Adter driving back from a 1 hour drive, I could smell something burning wasn't sure if it was my truck or not, but I smell it again, later on that day. Tried to research it, I read on here that there have been daylight lens burning??? Not sure...Hasn't happened since and that was roughly 2 weeks ago.

Problem 5

Just the other day, half way through the day, my co worker and I (the 3rd fo worker), were driving in town and we both heard a clinking and rubbing sound when I turned the truck around a corner or if I was going slow over some small bumps. I thought maybe bushing or bearing or perhaps the boot. I was going to bring it back in today but some of the sounds have stopped mysteriously (the engine tapping, and the clunking when turning.). Might be a waste of time going in if it isn't doing everything That I have noticed it doing. I have a few videos of this but not all of it. By the time I got my camera out, it would have stopped. If anyone can help because my dealer hasn't.

Also, as of late , sometimes when the fan cuts out which is often I know, the truck shakes which it never done before. That might be normal though, Not sure.

Well, the clicking sound is normal. That's your direct injection. We have both direct and port injection. Direct kicks in at lower speeds and when the engine is cold. Sounds like a diesel, but they all do that and it correct. The vibration in when driving at speed sounds like unbalanced tires. Are they the tires that came on the truck? Did the dealer upgrade them to bigger tires? If so, it could also explain the rubbing. Clutches in a manual can make that smell. The vibration when you start up is concerning and I'd take it in to the dealer.

Are you taking it to the dealer for service?

Thanks man! I'm going back to the dealer tomorrow. My truck is a automatic.

Once I get my videos reduced in size, I will post them. The tapping only started after 4 months of having it. It already had a slight tap much like a diesel yes but then the tapping gets really noticeable even if warmed up or cold. This started to happen roughly after 4 months of driving it. Once I get the video you please let me know. The vibration. I bought the truck in late July, kept factory tires, no mods but the truck just started to vibrate after 6 weeks of driving it. I later got them to put winter tires on and it still does the same thing. Toyota don't seem to care but hopefully soon. It's also an automatic. The real weird time was the 2 times the truck just started to shake to the point every piece of plastic was crackling and the screen was shaking like a tuning fork.
Are you taking it to the dealer for s

Just a wild guess, where are you getting your gas? Same station every time?

In addition, cold weather and any water in the gas will cause problems! Throw a can of heat in or a little sea foam.

Typically 2 places I fill. Both are somewhat new stations. I also fuel my Ford Edge and Hyundai Elantra there as well. No issues with them or any other time before. Perhaps seafoam but I didn't think I would need that already. I will look into it. Thx
