I had a scare - my allocated TRD Off-road manual build disappeared for a few days. It is now back and stabilizer disconnect has been removed. This doesn’t break my heart since it was a nice to have feature for me.

I’m seeing mention on the forums of other allocations being canceled. Might want to double check that those allocations weren’t just modified like mine.

Wondering if Toyota found an issue with the stabilizer disconnect or perhaps they just don’t have enough parts?

Any Intel out there on the matter?

Same happened with mine. It is nice to see the price tag come down a little after they took that off.

Same. I looked late last week and they removed sway bar disconnect, side steps , exhaust tip, wheel locks, floor liners, and black emblem covers. Price went down about 2.7k so I’m cool with it. But also I contacted the dealership when that happen and they moved up my production date at the same time. I was originally slated for a 1/29 build and it got moved up to 1/25. So not much but a couple days. We shall see what happens. Are you guys seeing your status change on the day of builds or following day?

Mine is still just showing allocation with no dates on the Toyota build tracker. Dealer originally told me March build date but they are now saying “2/19-2/25”.

My allocation was cancelled on Friday and has been reissued without SDM also. I also lost the Predator steps.

Dealer made some calls and was told the Predator steps are unavailable due to supply issues. He said from the best they can gather there is an issue with SDM and it’s being removed from everything for some reason.

Their guess is something wasn’t ready for prime time or they’re having parts issues with it.

Delivery date moved to early March so I’m not complaining and don’t mind the changes :)

My off road premium w/o stabilizer disconnect was moved up one day, wonder if some are getting moved back or they are exceeding expectations for number of builds a day.

I have a manual OR coming as well with the stabilizer. I asked my dealer today about this (had estimated build date of 2/1) but they had no information or know about anything changing on mine. Again for me, I really don’t have a preference on it or not.

When searching for TRD Off Roads with the premium package, looks like the ones that were originally ordered with the stabilizer disconnect are getting more than the cost of that option deducted as the MSRP for an Off Road with premium package comes up to 53195 (52,295 w/mud flaps) and the ones that have that listed and are most likely not coming with it are listed 52,235. Is Toyota giving a small inconvenience discount?

I do have an update on mine. The order spreadsheet updated my VIN last night, and did remove the SDM and side steps. Dealer confused me at first as they saw "front and rear stabilizer" listed and thought that was still SDM. I am not sure what that means personally, but it's a $0 listing on the spec sheet.

Funny enough with SDM and the side steps removed, it's much closer to what I wanted anyways. The dealer was saying they have things they can add at the dealership to bring it closer to the orignal price. I communicated hopefully a clear "no" and hopefully no surprises when it arrives..

LOL! They must be high to suggest something like that.

So since I have a hard requirement to get the SDM on mine and I keep looking specifically for that in the allocation sheet, I've noticed that no matter how much the allocations increase, I keep seeing the exact same ones with every update. Now it makes sense. So hopefully a temporary supply issue... *knocks on wood*
