OP, number one............inspect the truck thoroughly before signing. Pretend you're picking up a rental and inspecting for any damages so you won't be charged for them. Mine was missing one of the covers on the roof that cover the holes for a roof rack. Final check......look at the tire sticker inside the driver door. See what psi the tires are supposed to be and then verify that they are at that spec. 90% of dealers overlook this. The tires are way overinflated on purpose because they are strapped to the transport by the tires. The dealer is supposed to make adjustments but don't.
Mine were 45 PSI

I was 76 when I picked mine up; not tech savy much at all. The sales guy hooked up my phone, set me up in the Toyota web, showed a lot of stuff I nodded ok to, and sent me out the door on tires inflated to 49 psi. I drove 150 miles home pushing buttons and avoiding traffic while jarring on every bump. After spending a half hour in my driveway getting frustrated, I took the manual in and read it. Came back out and started accomplishing stuff. After 8 months I'm still learning and enjoying the ride (a lot more after dropping the air to 35 psi.) Congratulations on your new rig, you've earned it.

I'm 29 years old, took delivery of mine 2 weeks ago and immediately opted out of all connected drive features, which was very easy to do from the get-go. Call me old school, but my belief is it's all unnecessary to have in a truck. It still operates as a modern truck in every way without the privacy concerns/tracking/connectivity to our tech overlords. Just shut it all off, opt out and forget about it. The instrument cluster/infotainment system is a big enough thing to get used to by itself!

I have had my 2024 Off Road Premium+ since thanksgiving, traded in my 2016 4Runner Limited.
I have not regrated the decision at all. Love the truck and all the new technology.

I jumped from a 2016 Tacoma to an OR with the Premium package and find the technology a real upgrade.

I wish all oncoming traffic had lane assist.
