Finally!
32-34psi.. 35 Max
So is all that stuff about running E-loads at some minimum PSI to stop sidewall flex just BS? I'd LOVE to run them at 32. I bet that would make them a lot more supple to ride on.

DT wanted to run them at 35. Even Falken didn't seem to think there was a minimum, but I was talking to some lady who did not seem like an expert.

Aired down to 35. Did not feel much difference other than less precise steering. I may go back to 38/39. It felt pretty nice. I’m kinda shocked bc I’ve always been anti high PSI. I ran my 22 pro at 27. And the TH at 30 on the nose. Interested what others think about the Falkens in E and best pressure to run.

Also for those with the trail hunter, the NSV compressor is a delight to use

Anyone else experience DT ignoring the yellow dot on the tire (lining it up with the valve stem)? They ignored the dot on my tires. They didn’t even know what it meant. I feel like this is lazy as they rely entirely on the road force balancer, resulting in more weights than needed and possibly an inferior balance. Anyone have any thoughts? I don’t think there’s much vibration but I can’t tell for sure. Should I get them done correctly?

@StreeTaco - Could you tell me what PSI you run on your E load hi country tires? I dropped down to 33/34 from 38 initially then 35/36, now all of a sudden my tires are way more comfortable..not sure if it’s my imagination but just a few PSI made a massive difference. Wondering how low I can go before it’s problematic for an E load. May keep them at 33/34 or drop down 1 psi to optimize. Have you noted any tire heating or sidewall squish?

Do you guys think a 285/75/17 would fit without taking off the crash pad? It’s a 33.9” tire. I am going to 17s to save weight and try a different size in a C load tire. I’m running E load 275/70/18 (33.43”) and there’s very little room left. Wondering if anyone has tried 285/75/17.

As noted earlier I’m running 285/75/17 Toyo’s with a Westcott 2 1/2” collar lift on my OR. I hand the lift installed immediately after receiving the truck. Initially there was 0 rake after the lift was installed. A few months later the measured rake was 1”. I attribute that to the coils seating or settling in.
My understanding is the trail hunter is lifted 1 1/2” and that’s about where my truck sits presently.
I ran out this morning and took the attached pic. There is 1/2” of clearance.
Bottom line, I think it will be very close.

Edit:
My Method 703 wheels have a +35 offset. Another consideration.

That’s pretty fucking helpful. I am also super close on 33.43” tires—which is why I’m hesitating — BUT, I think Falkens “run big” and Toyos might run a tiny bit small, so they could be very close to the same size. I’ll take some pictures today of how close mine get.

Dumb question - which helps more for fit - more positive or more negative offset? I’m looking at RRW +25

I bet those C loads run super comfortable with all that sidewall! Tire rack says they are “loud” but most people who run them don’t say that.

I believe + offset applies more to tire width and rub on the inside of the wheel well.
The spacer lift slightly stiffened the suspension but with the Toyo C load I really didn’t notice a change in ride from OEM. As far as noise they are quiet now. Time will tell as they wear but expect that all aggressive tread tires to get noisier.

I assume the impact to torque / acceleration with a 34” tire isn’t too bad? Or highway cruising?
