Has anyone used a 4-tire hose with the Trailhunter's on board air compressor yet? If so, what are your opinions as to how it performed?

Thanks!

I ended up buying a moorflate 4-tire system which works well. It takes around 7 minutes to take all four stock tires from 18psi to 33psi.

Decided to DIY it, all parts off Amazon, mostly Flexzilla components. Used exactly one 50' hose cut to appropriate lengths. No leaks, works as I expected, only takes a couple of minutes to set up and keeps all 4 tires at the same PSI.

That is awesome. Mind giving a parts list for all of it?

No Problem, though it probably isn't cheaper than the Morrflate you can find on Amazon, I like DIY and was able to make the connections and lengths exactly what I wanted.

Bucket Boss bag - $18.99

Flexzilla fittings -$3.99 ea (x12=$47.88)

25 piece fitting kit - $23.99

50’ Flexzilla hose - $28.72

Airhose connector 2 pack $19.19 ea (x2=$38.38)

Locking collar air chucks 2 pack $15.99ea (x2=$31.98)

Total $189.94

EDIT: Weird, looks like it stripped out the links, but easily searchable on Amazon.

Did you have any issues with getting a hose fitting to connect at the compressor? I have a Decked drawer system installed too and it seems like a mighty tight area to connect to the compressor.

Yes, definitely could not make the connection with the Decked drawer system. I posted a bunch of pictures and some explanation here:

Rich, how deep did you need to dig into the compressor access module to replace the hose fitting? I looked at the pics you posted (thanks for those) when you were looking at the back side of the module, but I could not discern which other cover components needed to be removed to get at the threaded end of the fitting. I asked my dealership for an explosion view of parts, but they could not locate one. That's kind of interesting. Thanks, Rich.

Unfortunately I didn't get photos of all of the process. It was pretty extensive, much of it was never fully disassembled, just pulled apart far enough to get at the fitting to remove it. The connector on the back had to be unscrewed and the insert pushed in to open it up, and had to use a uni-bit (step bit) to expand the hole size to accommodate the slightly larger diameter fitting. If I had it to do over I'd try a universal joint on the female end first. Also, the OEM fitting has a pretty good thread locker, so it doesn't come apart easy.

Thank you for your reply. When you say that you would try a universal joint on the female end first, you mean a swivel female hose fitting, right? I would certainly prefer to dig into the housing less if I can still get a good use outcome. Thanks again.

Yes, if it fit that would be a much simpler option
