That’s what I was thinking. I thought it was maybe something important not to fuck with but now I feel dumb for not knowing what it was.I have seen small sliding covers that stick onto laptops so the camera can be blocked, but slid open when the camera is needed. …or just put a small sliver of electrical tape even a Tacoma heritage sticker across it. At least it only comes on when the headlights are on. When I did my Meso map light upgrade, I just unplugged it and it wasn’t as much of a big deal anymore. I don’t like how bright my dash is or the rear seatbelt warning light is so I turned them down and unplugged that too (relatively)… especially since I don’t have anyone in the back and until I get my tonneau in, I put my bug out gear and ACLS/IFAK gear in the back seat.I have seen small sliding covers that stick onto laptops so the camera can be blocked, but slid open when the camera is needed.
