Agreed. Not only is the grille huge, but that plastic trim looks awful. One reason we didn't consider the Hyundai Palisade when shopping for the wife's next vehicle was it had the same type of trim as the Tundra. So cheap-looking. The entire front-end just looks like a bad afterthought. That Tundra grill is ridiculous. Reminds me of a whale shark.
Maybe its the same design team as the Lexus front end disaster.Agreed. Not only is the grille huge, but that plastic trim looks awful. I totally agree. The Tacoma hits so many sweet spots on size, but I just wish the back seat had another inch or two and was slightly more comfy. If you jump to the Tundra it is just WAY more size than needed. If Toyota put a real back seat in the Taco they'd have hit it to the moon. #missedopportunities
and...the Tundra is fugly, imo.
If I could spec the Tacoma, I’d take the 6’ bed and make it 5’6”, and use the other 6” for the backseat leg room. I just can’t see Toyota doing this as long as the Tundra exists. If Toyota put a real back seat in the Taco they'd have hit it to the moon. #missedopportunities

Yeah that Tundra chrome stash is horrific! I own a 2013 Tundra and it’s getting replaced by a Tacoma! Kids are gone so I don’t need the space, and the new Tundra is a wreck in my opinion!Maybe its the same design team as the Lexus front end disaster.
Agree. I don't like the look of the longbed on the tacoma. An extra 6" in the bed and backseat would be about perfect. If I could spec the Tacoma, I’d take the 6’ bed and make it 5’6”, and use the other 6” for the backseat leg room. I just can’t see Toyota doing this as long as the Tundra exists.
