Congrats! Also opted to get a base OR (14" screen, heated seats) instead of one with the upgrade pkg to save some money. No regrets so far after 2K miles!

It's not looking great so far to add the factory 12V power in the bed despite being listed as an accessory by Toyota. The wiring harness is physical there, but supposedly no power supply. Hoping a DIY aftermarket option becomes available later down the road.
I Just Had a Marine Grade 12V Panel put in the bed of mine. if you know what you're doing parts will run you about 80ish bucks but labor was a doozy. All in all it cost me $530 to get it put in the back. I Tested it when i got home and I'm getting 36 watts of power without the engine running and around 93 with the truck idling. it'll run my fridge for sure but I think I'll run a little 3-400 watt inverter and see if i can get more juice for my power station. The switch to turn the panel on is on the panel so until i get a cover or topper anyone can come by and turn it on, but I don't foresee anyone really coming to play with a panel in the bed of my truck

The only ones I have ATM. Will take more if you want. The shop ran a cable straight from the battery. Once I get lights and other things I'll get some kind of cable management system going. For now I'm happy with it!

Oh that's nice, real clean install! This is probably a more realistic route than something OEM. Will probably look into mimicking this after the tonneau cover arrives.

I also have a base off-road. I don’t care about the rear sliding window, I never used it on my 21 off-road. Once my seat is where I want it I don’t adjust so don’t care it’s non powered. I would have liked to have a storage pocket in the bed or an air compressor to go but hopefully I can add that down the road. Overall I’m happy with my truck.

some bed storage would have def been nice. I really wished the ones in the gen 3s were water tight.

Which part number did you buy? Are they both 12v sockets or is one USB as well?

This is awesome man! Exactly what I want to do, seems doable and glad it works. The wattage seems right, all i want to do is have inflatables ready/ maybe an air compressor down the line. This is dope. Great work!

Also $525 beats 5k! So stoked on this. Gonna see if I can do it to mine

That's the exact model I have. No 12v in the bed. Unsure if you can add it. My previous 2022 Ram Laramie had a sliding back window and honestly, I never used it. So I don't really miss it in my current Taco.
It is quite useless, don't allow that to feel like a loss OP. The only time I use mine is when I have my sunroof open on the highway it'll cut the wind noise completely
