I may have to! In Kalifornia, there is a limited choice of “safe” pistols to purchase. The state has a roster of approved pistols that are certified as “safe” these generally have the magazine disconnect= no firing if no magazine is in the firearm, a chamber indicator, to warn of the firearm being loaded, ten rounds maximum per magazine, and has to pass a drop test.

when the state has to defend this roster, then person that runs the roster program for the California DOJ, he answered under oath that he doesn’t have a roster approved firearm for his Daily carry. He is exempt, just like law enforcement. The federal judge pointed out that law enforcement is exempt from this roster as well as the DOJ, making the law appear biased. Now the state is revising what is allowed because the the judge declared part of the roster law as unconstitutional. So, limited selection…. I wouldn’t mind a commander length but from a manufacturer that likely isn’t in the roster, like Guncrafter Industries, Shauland Performance, etc….
