This is exactly the kind of deal I’m looking for. A TRD Off-Road with just the 14” display and heated seats. Hopefully in a few months I’ll find one in my preferred color (octane, ice cap, or blue crush). I live in Georgia, so unfortunately I have to contend with SET and their port-installed crap that drives the cost up by a few thousand. I may have to drive up north to escape their control.
Georgia doc fee is 799 usually I think too and many dealers do the 699 for Toyota care. Just between those charges pays for shipping and then some from a northern dealer. Then they also will add cat guards ppf Dashcams etc. I crush setf pricing all the time and get people way larger discounts even with my fee and shipping factored in.

2024 Tacoma Off Road Premium- Silver
$56,116 Off Road Premium $8860 Factory Off Road premium package. $2861 added by Distributor (black exhaust tip, spray in bed liner, predator steps, ball mount, blackout package, connectivity kit, dash cam, vehicle protection package) of which spray in bed liner & dash cam were things I would have ordered so yep, I got hit with some pork but I wanted the truck! Overall very happy with my Tacoma and the 2024 over the 2023. My son is thrilled as well since I traded his 2019 4x4 SR5 and gifted him my 2023 Off Road. Oh, I might add my sales person called me about a week later to check on my new Tacoma. He told me that 2019 SR5 had already sold!

$42900 Base+$11721 Options+$1495 Delivery+$499 Dealer adds= $56,615

$56,615-$28500 Trade In(Was $28000 and they added $500 at the end to make the deal)= $28,115

$28115+ $2085 Tax Title License= $30,200 Cashiers Check & out the door.

Insurance increased $72.01 over my 2023 Tacoma Off Road to $733.25 every 6 months.

Mine is a Limited so not any options really. MSRP $55,687. OTD price $52,091. I'm in Oklahoma where you are not required to pay excise tax and tag at the time of sale. You have 60 days to pay those at an independent tag agency including about a dozen Indian tribes that issue tags.

I got lucky. They had 1 TRD sport on the lot the first time I went to the dealer. I just wanted to drive one, wasn't really prepared to buy. So after the test drive the salesman said we just dealer traded for a Limited and it is being cleaned up from a road trip if I would be interested at MSRP. I drove it then I said I will think about it, and I left the dealer. The next day I get the text below from my salesman. I didn't ask for any numbers when I left. After thinking awhile I went back to the dealer and said I would do the deal if they waived the $400 doc fee. They wouldn't take it out but cut the price from $52,500 in the text to $52,091.

2024 Tacoma TRD OFF Road with everything
Too much.

Absolutely everything on it TRD OFF-Road. The kicker was the stay bar disconnect which I couldn't find anywhere at the time. That made me pull the trigger.

The sticker with all the dealer add on garbage was 59k!

I paid around 54. I still think if I was patient I could have found a better price but I was sick of my bronco to the point that I just wanted it gone.

Paid 34k for mine, slightly used with about 2k miles on it. Only thing from Toyota extra on it is the dashcam, but other than that nothing else upgraded. Got because I had been itching for a truck and finally found this one within my budget. If I waited I could have ordered one exactly how I wanted but I hated the Camry I was driving.

It took me two weeks to notice that although they put wheel locks on my truck they didn't give me the key. They can't replace the key, so next Monday my truck goes to the dealer where they will remove the existing lock lug and replace it with one that has a key.

I know that is off topic, but your mention of wheel locks reminded me of that!

In 1986 my SR5 had a MSRP of $12,750. I paid $10k. That's more than 20% off. :cwl:

In 2024, I managed to get $250 off my Trailhunter. :crying:

Times have changed. Today I part with my money much more easily.
