This subject has totally been hijacked. Can we get back to the topic of the initial thread?
Yes, and I apologize.. this is my fault.
The last “on topic” comment, related to Stillen QC on an aftermarket air cleaner assembly for the Tundra. For me, this means that I personally would wait for someone else to purchase The Stillen air cleaner assembly first to verify my QC concerns, that seem to plague their Tundra air cleaner assembly variant.

Thanks for the course correction! I am with you as I am not an early adopter and prefer to let the more adventurous establish the track record.

i had a TRD cold air intake on Yaris I had , that did actually add alotta spunk to it's 4 banger & made quite a sound u could hear me coming a block away . I had TRD sway bar ,support pillars for the front end , fat wheels , cornered superbly But that Yaris was worst Toyota I ever had , I had got it to long commute in to save on gas back in 2008.

I mean I’ve been running 91 since mile 0…. It’s got some umph on it. Love mine.
87 for me, truck is designed for it so I have no issue.
I traded my 2021 Tundra for the '24 Sport Premium non-hybrid Tacoma and had some remorse due to the lack of power off the line in comparison (I realize the differences in power curves between the engines).
For general around town and NOT hauling or running through mountain passes 87 seems fine.
Was running 87-89 mix for the first 2000km and the truck simply didn't seem to have the pull I was hoping for (I owned a '21 Taco as well).
After a couple of tanks of 91 the motor definitely feels happier and pulls better, especially in both Tow and Sport modes.
