I have a 6ft Off Road (Premium) and with 1,275 miles I am averaging 19.2 mpg. The best I've seen is 21.1 mpg. I don't know what the break-in period is on this engine but so far I think 20ish is pretty good. I did install the TRD high flow engine air filter (K&N equivalent) and saw some improvement.

I’ve got a stock TRD Sport Hybrid, and 24-26 seems pretty normal for most of my driving and commuting. I’ve been able to baby it up to 29.5 driving from the tip to tail of Delaware, but it is an exceptionally flat state. Up in the mountains in PA it tends to range from 17 to the low 20s, unladen.

120 mile round trip almost all highway on Thursday, will post my highway mileage. I know it will be significantly lower as the staties are letting us drive 75-80mph in NH. :)

What is your average highway mileage?
I have a gas model TRD Sport and I just went to Chicago from Western KY. I guess half city and half hwy 60 mph limit most of the way and that is what I set the cruise on. Averaged about 22.5 the first half and 24 mpg the last half. My normal work drive and around town if I’m easy on it is about 20 mpg.
60 miles at 5am, cruise control at 78mph most of the way only 18.2mpg Temp was only 26 degrees
60 miles home at 4pm, variable speeds, a lot in the 80-85mph range 22.1mpg Temp was 44 degrees
I knew temperature affected mpg negatively, but was surprised at it being that much

This is nuts. I haven't seen anything over 16 mpg.....and I'm babying the hell outta the pedal. No extra weight besides 275's.....maybe something is wrong with the truck? Driving a Trailhunter
Same with me.. TH with 285s..

I would say driving without cruise control and at a higher variable speed had more to do with it than the temp. The temp most likely did have some affect.

I'm also disappointed with my Trailhunter mileage. 20mpg at best. I keep it in Eco mode.

TRD Pro here. Normal regular thoughtless driving, I'm getting between 17-18mpg. Consciously utilizing hills and hacking the hybrid to work when it normally won't, I'm able to get 23-25. Trick is getting the hybrid system to work as much as possible, and letting off when going up smaller inclines when it can be helped and staying below 60mph. I've got 15k miles on the clock and have found it difficult to keep the economy over 20 on the highway, or stop and go. Back roads are where she shines. I drive mostly with eco on. Attached is from when I filled up today on 87 at Costco. Mpg average is accurate from every time I've ran the numbers. The range estimator like others have said only accounts for 15 gallons so it usually says around 310 miles give or take a few.

our Trailhunters do not have the air dam , lower trim models have it and they are doing exceptionally well on the MPG. I just took a trip to Arizona used the cruise control system and the best I got was 16.8 mpg , I do have factory roof rack and I had my Pelican case mounted on top, also carrying wife two small kids and a lap dog . Man once I get my 35s and the gear mounted to the rear bed I might be looking at 12 mpg yikes

Man, I must have a different engine than you guys. I get about 18.5 combined and I drive SLOW and accelerate without using any boost. Now can I fill it up on an interstate exit get right on the (flat) highway on a low wind day and get 22-23 on the highway? probably if I baby it. But real world stop and go traffic mixed with a little highway....hell no, no way.
