Thank you! Really heartbroken about my truck, though. But that can be replaced.
As others have already said, I am very happy to know you are alive and well overall, though I imagine you’ll be pretty sore over the next few days at least.

if it’s worth anything at all, I’ve been in a very similar situation (albeit a sedan and not a truck) and yes it’s a bummer to total your new vehicle, but in the grand scheme of things you walked away, are alive, and as you stated, your truck is replaceable.

That looks like a nasty accident my friend. And the safety systems did their job which is not a surprise to me, but great news for all of us none-the-less.

Accidents are accidents., and that’s what insurance is for. I don’t think it matters whose fault it was insofar as it’s a total bummer to total your truck either way. But I agree with Slappy (who I met briefly and is a good dude… thank you for the wheel Slappy), if it wasn’t your fault get a lawyer. If it was I think your insurance will mostly handle it all behind the scenes for you. But I’m no expert so definitely I’d say do some research. Maybe get a lawyer consult either way?

Again for what it’s worth, if anything at all.. really sorry about the accident.

Glad you're okay man, definitely could've been worse indeed. That little damage hitting a Dodge Ram is actually quite impressive. Definitely makes me feel a little safer seeing this.

Happy to hear that the truck did its job. Sad to see such a young Taco on its side like that but more importantly… you’re alive. Cheers to that.
