I purchased the Carista and made the standard changes others have done.
I made a list of Features that can be changed and the possible settings in an Excel spreadsheet. This was easier for me to see the options for my interest. I thought this list may be helpful to other rather than the numerous screenshots posted. Enjoy

At times when the seat belt ding needs to be off I use The Tikit (from Thetikit.com). For a very few $ they work perfectly. Dog in the passenger seat, groceries, constantly opening gates or getting out to shoot varmints or pictures. Don't buy just one, you'll be giving it away or a friend will take it.

Great info. Do you know what is the difference between the Carista EVO versus the standard one? Is it worth spending more for more options?

Only difference is that the EVO works with more variations of vehicles. No differences in capabilities between the two.

Do you know someone with the adaptor and a subscription? Yes, if you do.

Otherwise you can use the adaptor with your own subscription.

I have a Carista and an active subscription until January 20th. If anyone is in north jersey / nyc area and wants to use it shoot me a message.

I’ve got one I can help with as well. Tustin/Irvine. Or 57 and Imperial.

Looks like the manual transmission trucks don’t have the fake engine sound in the cab or the active noise cancellation features. There’s no chassis and engine menu for my TRD Off Road 6MT when it’s hooked up to Carista.

Anyone notice the driver door lock keyless lock touch timing is shortened to normal when the setting is changed but the passenger door still has a delay?

The video above goes over it well. The things I've seen talked about most are disabling the fake engine noise, disabling active noise canceling, and turning on the window control with the fob.

Though this is not possible via this device, I've wondered if MTM can be enabled for those who only have the PVM (like the limited trim). It would be nice to get those off-road specific views. Specifically the "under the vehicle" one.
I recall a guy on here was able to add it using a Toyota Specific ECU software, but it required like a $400 adapter plug for your laptop to do so.

Wondering if you ever figured this out? In case you didn't or anyone else wants to know this is what I did last night at the gas station and seemed to work.
1 Put in park
2 Open door
3 Put in reverse
4 Start moving backward...beeps, chimes and then brake will be applied and you stop
5 Press down on brake pedal with foot and then disable parking break (push down on the parking brake button* just to the left of the shifter)
6 Take foot off of break and start moving backward again.
I wonder if this will work for both reverse and forward?!?
We went snowshoeing this past weekend and when we got back to the truck, my wife though it would be nice to sit on the tailgate and have our hot cider. The tailgate was over a patch of solid ice so I though it would be good to move forward a little. She and the dogs were in the back and I jumped in to pull foreword but didn't bother to shut my door. About three feet forward and the truck stopped dead, big red "BREAK" on the instrument panel. I had to shut my door, put it in park and then drive again to go any further. I am going to have to check it out.
Thanks for the info!
