Has anyone else noticed when it is raining and you come to a stop (or when hood is wet) a big splash of water comes over the hood? Finally took the opportunity to snag a few videos. Seems to be some odd aerodynamics on the front of the truck is trapping water and then it comes splashing over when coming to a stop. It’s a bit annoying. It sometimes even splashes windshield.

You should ceramic coat your truck and see how much comes up. I keep looking for whoever is throwing a bucket of water on my windshield.

Like @mrgooden said. Ceramic coat and see what happens! Happens all the time when it rains

The water is sliding off the front of hood and then hitting the slipstream of air. My Tundra does it also.

I have a sport and it does the same. Truck is ceramic coated and it beads up into one giant blob on the hood. Looks kinda cool but a little distracting tbh.

My sport does the same thing but so does my wife’s Honda Pilot.

My work truck does this too, arguably a lot worse. 2018 F150 single cab

I’ve ceramic coated mine and there’s really no difference. We’ve had some heavy rainfall the last week and visibility is horrible when this happens.

Just the sign of a well waxed/sealed vehicle. Want to prevent it? Put an ugly ass bug defector on it and that will solve your problem. Me? I'd rather just turn my wipers on.

"I cannot recommend this truck. Buyer beware." :) Sorry, I'm being a smartass and stole that from another thread. :)

Don't sweat it. It's just the aerodynamics of the front. đź‘Ť
