I’ve driven mine almost 2K as well since August but others have said they get microshudders at a stop and I do too. I don’t know if that’s a sign I’m losing my trans.
hopefully Toyota gives us a remedy/fix or even assess our truck to make sure we're good. for peace of mind. lol

I’m taking mine in tomorrow night for all the bad shifting see what they say on hump day. I’m hoping they drop the pan and find debris, if they refuse to drop the pan I’ll bite the bullet and pay to have the pan dropped that’s my game plan but honestly I’m not having much faith I’ll get a resolution without a check engine light on

I'm not a Toyota fanboy by any means (had a Rav as my first vehicle) and this is my first truck - of any type, but yall are something else lol. If you're worried about it, sell it. There is literally nothing you can do about it unless it fails. Take it to a dealership with no signs of failure and watch them kindly escort you out saying that there isn't anything they can do.

Just got my truck back after 2 months for having to replace the cracked AC condenser. Just waiting for another failure I guess.

They added new VINs but didn’t address the issue of MT VINs still appearing on the list, even though the description specifies automatics. Absolute clowns.

Plus you have 5 years/60k miles for failure. Shit happens. Aggravating but not a damn thing can be done.

I agree with maxx075. This is my first brand new truck and first Toyota purchase. Drove mine until code was stored and retrieved. Shifted horribly, and often got stuck in 6th gear. Until then they were not going to replace the trans. Frustrating, yes! In the end they took care of it. They have went above and beyond in many cases on this forum when failure occurred. I worked in the service side of dealerships for almost 10 years. In my experience they are taking care of their customers. Of course the process and implementation of it can always be improved upon. Especially on the heals of the Tundra issue. Best of luck on whatever course of action you all deem appropriate to remedy your particular situation.

Maybe? But how do you know that all the trucks don’t do that. Just because the trucks that fail do that doesn’t means that’s a sign because every truck may do it. And not everyone may notice it.
It’s completely ridiculous if that is a normal thing. No way it is from my automotive expierence
