Both my tacos are affected. Of course, no dealers have parts, but not worried. It’s easy enough to make sure mud & dirt aren’t caked up in the rear wheels. If they are, use your hose and remove it. Easy peasy.
Didn't even think about that. I thought the hardest part would be the waiting at the dealership as they work on our truck.

I’m always amazed how a team of engineers couldn’t foresee a problem with that design on an off-road truck. Nobody thought wow that brake line is very close to the wheel….

I got the recall, too. Thank you to the forum, because I don't check my app, really. I called local dealer and they haven't even gotten direction from Toyota on how to fix it. Obviously, no parts, so waiting for a letter from Toyota before I can make an appointment.

I call the dealer to and they told me they will start to make appointments in april and document my account as I call to that matter.
i”ll suggest to call and let them know to document the account in case something happens you already call .

I was about to ask that. Should we wait until we get the notice in the mail before we head to the dealer? Or should we go now and just get it over with. Seems like waiting is the option for now. Besides, an earlier post said something about parts availability being an issue as well.

Spoke to my dealership. They said no fix at the moment but should be pretty quick! And to keep an eye on the lines, if there is a leak they will tow it and get me into another vehicle until the repair is complete.

Service manager said the Salesman are not happy, they pulled 10 off the lot! “They finally have some inventory on hand but can’t sell them” 🤣
