TRD Performance Exhaust - PT226-35241-02 worth it? Sound clilps?

So it replaces the muffler? Cat back with a replacement muffler? I assume it replaces with a more straight through design rather than delete because it’s suppose to still comply with the 95db number.

Would love to hear a sound clip comparing the whole cat back vs just axle back.

Here is the part number for the center pipe portion of the TRD Performance exhaust system:

The parts guy said the exhaust tips are basically cosmetic, the improvement is from the center pipe portion of the complete exhaust system... What the improvements are I haven't been able to find online.

The TRD exhaust on my 2g included a new muffler, tail pipe, and tip. The 3g Pros came with the TRD exhaust that had a different muffler/tail pipe/tip.

What's unclear is whether the 2024/25 Pros have the full "TRD" exhaust that includes both part numbers above.

Request: Someone with a Pro measure the length and diameter of your muffler. Someone with a non-Pro do the same. Please post the measurements. Thanks.

Interesting that Yotagarage is selling an OEM TRD exhaust that includes muffler and tail pipe. No part # but I'm guessing it's the two above combined?

My TRD exhaust came factory installed. It appears to be rather rare option when checking dealership inventory. I am very happy with the exhaust note.

Do you notice any drone at highway speeds? I would like to upgrade my stock exhaust, but am paranoid about drone since it seems like the TRD exhaust lacks a resonator compared to the stock one.

It looks like the TRD exhaust might have a mini resonator. The diameter increases slightly before the tips.

Full exhaust or rear section? Can you take a picture of the muffler? It is right in front of the rear axle. Maybe that exhaust section from the flange forward toward cat? Thanks.
