Has anyone noticed a slight whistle near the drivers side when you get close to 70 mph? I'm also getting a rattle on the passenger side. Both seem to be around the A pillar.

Wow, 70mpg is amazing - I'm only getting 20.8mgp. LOL - I'm sure you meant 70mph, but just couldn't ignore it. :)

As for the whistle, I haven't noticed it. Will pay closer attention and am interested if others are experiencing the same.

between 70-75mph while you’re lightly on the throttle? And then it stops as soon as you let off the gas?

if so that’s the differential howl. Mine is currently at the dealer getting a new differential

Bump - just seeing if anyone else has experienced this? I'm bringing it into the dealer today. The rattle is similar to TRD Jon's Tundra videos.

How many miles do you have that you are experiencing this. I just hit close to 2000 miles so I will check to see if the truck has a rattle and sound as well. One thing that irritates me is the build quality is not what it used to be. I had every generation of tacoma and when I take apart all individually you can definitely tell that the build quality goes down with every generation.

Dealership claimed they found it. It’s the trim pieces on the room and they’re replacing them. I’ll update once I get it back.

I'm having issues uploading a video but I don't believe the dealership has found the issue as they claim. I tapped down the trim pieces they claimed to be the issue with some painters tape and I'm still hearing the wind noise.

The driver's side is a whistle and the passengers side is a rattle. Both seem to be near the bottom corners of the wind shield.

I have the same issue it drives me crazy. Rattle starts for me around 50mph and gets louder. I can’t pinpoint what it is. Here is a video of what mine sounds like

Mine sounds exactly the same but on the passenger side. It did get a little better but oddly enough its gotten better after I've installed the OEM bed cover. Its probably coincidental.

Yes I have the same issue and driving me nuts. Not the whistle but the rattle. Only at speeds above 65 MPH. Only on passenger side somewhere over dash. Dealership service thinks it is outside air turbulence??? Test drove another 2024 Tacoma TRD with the Service manager and it also had similar sounds. All tape and foam tests (images below) had no effect except the taping of the passenger window seals (inside and out). I left the painter's tape on the window. Then, the next day, without removing the painter's tape, the 'rattling noise' returned!!!

I think I have found the source of some of the wind-related rattle noises in my 2024 Tacoma. In my TRD, the noise starts around 65 mph and is sometimes louder than other times. It has existed since the day I drove it off the dealership lot. It sounds similar to the recording on this forum. It is distinct from the outside air turbulence you might normally expect to hear. Today I tested two areas by temporarily securing loose pieces with foam to prevent any potential vibration-looseness and to see what effect it might have on the noise at high speeds. Check out the images. Images 7867.jpeg and 7866.jpeg are under the front of the truck directly below the radiator. This piece is exposed to air turbulence and when tapped upon with my finger, it felt loose and noisy. The other area I found 7865.jpeg is under the hood running front to back, along both the passenger and driver's sides. They are both thin, flimsy pieces of plastic that also appeared loose and potentially noisy. I gently but firmly packed foam there as well. So far, after driving it on the highway several times, 90% of the noise is gone! Still testing to be sure.

Was your visor down? My visor was making a sound as it was vibrating and it took me some time to link the sound to it being down.
