Glad to finally be able to post here! Just picked up my black Sport Premium. First truck and loving it. So far I’ve just been playing around with vinyl (grille stripes and blacked out the Sport wheels) but there’s a few other things I plan on doing down the road.

For all the owners in this thread, any first-time owners of a black vehicle? My preference is Underground but my dealership has a black truck coming available. I have just heard how some people have regretted black.

Underground isn't much better than black in terms of how it shows scratches and dirt. It sure does look good though. Everything has a trade off.

Make sure you inspect whatever you get well before you take receipt of it though, my clear coat and vinyl on the door pillars was scratched to shit. Dealer is paying for paint correction and new vinyl.

NICE! That looks like the perfect amount of poke too. Im getting the TRD wheels which are 45mm so basically the same as yours.

Which one did you end up getting? I got a black one, first time owner. I was kinda regretting it, thinking i should've got Underground but nothing beats a clean, black truck in my opinion and I think it looks better at different times of the day. There's times I like the Underground, times I don't so I felt comfortable with Black and I think Underground only looks good during early evening or at night. When the sun is out, Underground looks boring to me.

If you look at the Underground thread, there's some nice pictures when there is contrast to the surroundings like in a desert setting but in forest setting looks basic to me. Looks very basic to me when the rims are silver/gray like on an SR5

Kinda wish I got a Bronze Oxide though just to be different but I think I still would've gone Black at the end of the day.

Hello, first time posting a thread, just want to show and go over the truck as of right now. The truck has about 1500 miles and very happy with the truck. There is some small things ive noticed with the truck that Im sure most people has noticed. Some of those things that ive noticed is shifting 1st to 2nd gear rev up very fast from dead stop sometimes alittle jerky. When playing music over 35-45 volume hear some rattling noise. some of the fitment and finish could use some more work but other than those so far the truck is super fun and love it. I get a 1.5" Readylift kit with some 285/65/18 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT tires on the stock wheels

Hello everyone. I finally installed my Westcott Designs lift. I can say, it's a job! I wanted to let anyone know who is going to do this with a TRD OR to not try to knock off the retaining ring at the bottom of the shock. It is actually threaded. I think they did the video on an SR5.
