Illuminated Front Toyota Emblem (PT413-35240) - anyone install on front grill yet?

Finally figured it out. The DRL three-prong connector is the LED plugin connector. Reference the attached images for the connection to the illuminated logo connecting plugins.

Just got mine installed, I was expecting the illumination to be brighter. I was unable to see it during the day and then it was underwhelming at night. Is your like this?

Installed mine. It’s pretty dim but what i expected. Plenty visible at night.

I can’t really see it, but it takes a really bright light to be noticeable in sunlight which I didn’t expect this to be, probably just a couple watts.

I really like the look of this and am considering ordering one. It looks like a fairly simple install and if I understand this correctly, it looks like it uses the signal light bulb harness to draw power? And if so, does it come on during daylight with these DRL's or just when headlights are on?

Mine does not work during daylight in auto mode.

Wasn't a big of the chrome considering that was the only thing chrome on my truck. I purchased the illuminated emblem and threw a little matte clear tinted with a little bit of black, I think it came out pretty good!!

You can purchase matte clear in a spray can that works really well, I paint vehicles for a living so I have access to all the fun stuff.
