Well I took it in to the dealer and they determined it's "working as designed". I find it ridiculous that that's the ONE SCREEN that won't stick. It's obviously a bug but I doubt Toyota will ever look at this

So if you only use the "Single Meter" and not the default "double meter" with the rpms & mph it seems to stick.... But that's the only way I've seen it consistently stay how I set it...... But I don't like the look of the single meter

I can confirm moving it to the left side of my gauge cluster did nothing. The search for solutions continues
There was a comment about making sure you move the cursor back to the center before hitting the 'back" button to exit settings. Have you tried that?

That doesn't work... I tried that also.... It may work once or twice but it still goes away after a couple of start ups

Are you speaking about the single RPM meter in the center? I have it set like that and it doesn't stick for me, but maybe I'll swap it over to dual meters, save the tpms setting, and swap it back to single meter.

For me I set it while in the single mode and it has stayed for about 5 days so far but could be a fluke... But I've never had it stay in the double gauge mode for more than 3 or 4 startups

Maybe I'm having the opposite issue; I set my dash to single gage mode pretty much right away and it never stuck there. I will try when I have time to set it in double or other combinations like so.

I just resubmitted my case to Toyota (they closed it after telling me to take it to the dealership). I'm going to keep bugging them until this is addressed. It probably won't help, but I just can't believe they are this negligent.

The saga continues...

I got a call from a case manager. The phone number indicated it was from the Toyota Battery Manufacturing center. The case manager was very receptive to getting the details of this issue. I'm still a bit shocked that they are not more aware of this, but yeah, she listened and said she was going to run a test with our local service manager to see if they can replicate the issue. I'm pretty confident they will replicate the issue. The real question is what happens after that.

She asked me what I'd like to happen with this issue and I told her I believe it is a software bug that would need to be addressed with an update to the software. We'll see how far this goes but I thought I'd post an update for anyone that's interested!
