Sorry for the newbie question but I’ve always been a Jeep gal and am not familiar with Toyota after market. No OEM tonneau covers for the 2024 Trailhunter so I’m wondering if anyone has an aftermarket one they can recommend? Bonus points if it can be found in Canada.

Also looking for something super secure. A friend just lost his off his Tacoma on the highway and now I’m a bit paranoid.

Thanks so much!

Can't help you out with the TH Tonneau Cover, but I just installed an Extang soft Trifold on my 24 Sport. It has an extra safety tether on each side to prevent it blowing off the truck if the clamps aren't secured properly.

If you remove the ARB bed bar, plenty of tonneau options. I’m going with Retrax. If you don’t remove the bed bar, so far I haven’t found one that is compatible.

No tonneau cover will work with the Trailhunter ARB sport bar on. I sold mine and installed the Toyota OEM cover and it's fine.

hey there! If you remove the arb sport bar you should be able to put on any OEM tonneau covers. I believe others have done it ~ there are prob photos here or in the TH Facebook group. I’m currently trying to convince my sales guy it’s possible so I can throw one in the bed to take home when I go pick this thing up hopefully in the next couple weeks.

i don’t believe there’s a way to mount one while keeping that chase rack installed because of how it bolts to the frame rails. (Weird design choice on ARBs end if you ask me)

If you remove the sport bar as others have said, and get a retractable cover with t-slots, you could find other rack options to remount on top of you need it.
I have the Roll-n-Lock A-Series with t-slots (photos in another post). It mounts really clean to the factory rails.

The bed assembly specific to your model - ARB bar - might have compatibility issues. Otherwise this stuff is universal for a handful of pickups I've owned.

Nothing will be truly secure. Even a well-clamped cap can break in an accident. When thieves want something they get it if in your cab, a topper or under a tonneau cover. A friend who got a solid top tonneau pointed out thieves prying it did more damage than if he had a tarp/fabric type.

For traditional cloth/tarp/canvas types, some more time passing has me loving the versatility of Fas-Top but I think others are made much the same. What really makes Fas-Top stand out is the versatility and their also having a compatible rack system. They might not be for everyone but wow do I like how easy I go from open bed, tonneau cover and a topper.

Just like it took time for long bed accessories, that ARB bar compatibility might be the same.

I would like to keep the Trailhunter rack. Has anyone one heard of a company producing a compatible cover yet? Seems like ARB would be considering this...

Thank you everyone for the options so far. I love the sport bar so I’m hoping they come up with something.

I’m going to look into options posted and look forward to any more that smart folks come up with! TIA

I like the look of the sport bar without the molle panels, but ordered a diamondback cover, so it will be coming off shortly.
