Looking elsewhere because of sharing the truck with a women!?!!? Memory seats my lil brothers FSport Lexus has those. I am a child genius trapped in a 43 year old man’s body and a life long bachelor. It is beyond my comprehension that a seat adjustment would be a deal breaker but then again I never shared a truck with a ball breaker. Is the key to a happy marriage memory seats? I never let society dictate my life and never lived up to the status quo maybe I just don’t understand. I am in the wind.
Actually sounds like you have it figured out.

Wait, is the seat memory function not available even in the Premium Package? I think I'm going to drive a Sport tomorrow, I'll have to take a look. I agree with you 100% if that's the case.

I've been saying that about the auto or full time 4x4 for a while. It's one of the reasons I am still considering the GMC Canyon. Why go through all the work to develop it, then only put it in one trim (limited).

I had a 2019 Off Road extended cab, 6ft bed. They really need to bring that back. The back seats are useless, I would be happy just giving up on them and getting storage. But I need 4x4

Other than that, it's subjective, but better colors. I'm not going to insult anyone if they really like Oxide Bronze or Underground...I do not. That's fine, but maybe we make Terra available on all trims, add Storm Cloud or a better blue, and ditch one of the whites

Bigger gas tank would be nice
100% and I think in a few years for the refresh they'll definitely increase the tank size. I got a survey from Toyota maybe a month after I bought the truck and made sure they knew my thoughts on the paltry tank.

The new Tundra only comes with the larger tank, so it's obvious that Toyota knows there's demand in the truck segment for a decent tank. At least 22-23 gal minimum. 18 is just too small, especially when towing - I'm filling up like every ~200 miles, ideally I'd want at least 4-5 hours of endurance when hauling a trailer.

Nonetheless, I'll be first in line if Long Range America releases an extended gas tank.

Internal storage room in the hybrid models...like...for a first aid kit and a jumper battery. From videos and pictures it looks like there isnt any room for these in the top models behind or under the back seats due to the battery and the JBL bass speaker.

Man what’s with all the sour people in here?

FWIW Memory seats are present in my 2018 limited 4runnner. My wife and I are 7” apart for height and it’s quite a handy feature, i find. We only share occasionally but It would be terrible doing large seat adjustments every time. I can hardly get in due to knee contact when the seat is set to her driving position.

Someone also asked about 6 foot box moving the battery back, but i its still under the back seat With the longer box.

I’ll jump on with the larger fuel tank, and 6 foot box with other trim levels. (I got A TH mostly for the box/hybrid combo)

I like these ideas, but doubt they will happen and dont want them to happen because:
1: Too much sophistication and they are going to scavenge sales from the Tundra.
2. More electronics will only make the Taco less reliable and more expensive.

Maybe I am spoiled, but I would have liked the memory package too. When someone else drives my vehicles it is nice to easily put it all back to where you had it.

A memory function could not adjust everything anyway, unless they add power steering wheel adjustment on all trims and power seat back recline on the Pro. That might come eventually but I don't expect it for 2025. If you look at past Tacoma changes, they come very, very slowly or not at all.

From a Bronx Tale……….How to judge the character of a girl. On your first date when you open the passenger door for her make sure when you go to get in you go around the back of vehicle. Look through the back window if she reaches over and unlocks your door she is a keeper. I dare you to ask your wife nicely to move the seat back when she drives yours ours whatever the truck is. I double dog dare you to remind and ask her again if she forgets. If your marriage goes really SOUR you could mention the vehicle seat position at a last ditch marriage counseling session. If the Cadillac and Lincoln luxurious pickup trucks were more of a super popular thing maybe Lexus would have built there version of a luxury truck. The Toyota Tacoma is apparently incapable of providing all the creature comforts of a happily married short/tall couple. Oh life is so hard without memory seats and a wife. Will the love of a Tacoma pickup truck stand the test of time and the sacred bond of a Man and Woman last through it………

Lol…this hits the nail on the head in the market today ,i guess truck owners have different expectaions , and needs to make a truck desireable , like. The official starbucks “mocha late warmers in cup holder, or perhaps. The foot massagers on the floor mats for the long drive to the mall. Maybe diperbag holder in truck bed? Somtimes i wonder when people have these needs ,they may consider an SUV ? This whole trend will settle and im guessing there will be a large amount of trade ins after a year or two , its a fad. The video influencers are over glorifying the whole truck thing and will be moving on to the newest flavor of the month

@Turbotruck

I see you are both stupid and an incel, and dont even know who you are responding to. I’ve never complained about memory seats, just stated that I could see why someone who shares a vehicle might value that. Thanks for the ‘lecture’. I’m sure donald would be proud.

Whats with all you grouches? Some people share vehicles, or can only have one vehicle due to space or other constraints, or want certain features in their vehicle. People value different things. Some of you seem to value bitching about other people’s preferences more than contributing to the OP’s ‘Wish list‘ intention, indicating you care more about what other people might want than about things that might make your life better. Nice

Show your wife this thread especially my comments. She will be like Whaaaaaaaaat! I kinda apologize for using this thread to poke fun at pet peeves and the sanctity of marriage but it is just so ridiculous and Toyota is Lexus for all the wishful.
