I did offer to drive, and to be blunt and honest, where I live in S. Florida, if your doing 75 on I95, your probably in the right lane.
I lived in Palm Beach County I remember how fast you had to drive and now in Phoenix. Need to be doing at least 80 here.

What kind of tires are on the TH models. Just curious. PreRunners came with 265/70r17 BFG Trail-Terrain T/A. Sadly the OEMs are made for Toyota and not the 3PMSF tires.

Maybe try inflating to Max PSI and see if you can still reproduce the issue. Easy enough to test.

I was thinking that, if it's the tires something should change. Will follow up on that test.

Is the steering wheel shaking?
Do you have the roof rack?
Definitely not the roof rack. Shaking is mainly in dash, which makes it difficult to assertain if the wheel is shaking or I'm feeling like it is.

Sounds like the roof rack.
Mine does the same.

Tires would shake at 50mph and up.

You can try taking masking tape and seal the roof rack deflector where it meets the roof.

..and a safety hazard. I-495 going around Boston is 75+ just to keep from getting rear ended.

Super weird. I have driven my TH 100+ with zero issues or vibrations. I would for sure RFB every tire. And as others have mentioned the stock tires are dogshit.

2024 Tacoma Trailhunter vibrates at 75 mph.

Brought it to my local service center and they refused to replicate the issue. Was advised they will not drive it 75 mph.

Called Toyota Brand Central. They opened a case and got back to me weeks later with the same response from service center. They advised me to call Toyota Corp.

Opened a new case with Toyota Corp. Returned to me 2 weeks later with same response. Their position is there is nothing they can do.

Called a Lemon Law attorney, and they basically took the same stance.

If you plan on driving a vehicle over the local speed limit, it appears, it's your problem. A lot to consider when buying a 70k vehicle. šŸ¤·
I used to be a tech, one thing we were always taught about vibrations on courses. If you think the vibration isnā€™t wheels or tires it likely is, if you still donā€™t think itā€™s wheels and tires, it likely is.

my advice, take the truck to a tire shop that uses a Hunter Road Force Wheel Balancer, not all dealers have them, maybe check to see if your Toyota dealer did have one. The Hunter balancer can diagnose wheel/tire problems. they are the best in the industry. Iā€™ll also say often times these sorts of low mileage vibration issues often go to apprentices, and they just rebalance wheels, but donā€™t really understand ways to fix wheel and tire balance issues. youll have no problem finding a tire shop in major cities with that balancer - or even call some other Toyota dealers. Iā€™ve learned over the years, the statement to be true - all vibrations are wheel and tire issues. Some can be solved with a good balance, other times itā€™s a bad rim or a bad tire. But a good tire tech with a Hunter balancer will give you answers For sure.

I'm sure there's the oddball case around, but almost every thread I've seen about the vibrations/shudders with the new Tacomas has either been the tires/wheels or the roof rack. I'd start there.

I have an OR that I regularly drive 90+ with no issues.
Hi, Iā€™m Jake from State Farm. Nice of you to publicly share that you drive 90+ regularly. Of course we already knew that because Toyota sells that information to us. Check your next renewal for a little surprise from us.

I find that odd that they won't replicate. I mean, US130 in Texas has a legal speed limit of 85, some roads, particularly in wide open states have no set speed limit during the day, how are you to be able to keep up with traffic if they won't bother replicating? Beyond that can't they just throw the thing on a lift, and accelerate it to 75 or beyond? Or even take it to a dyno somewhere, no speed issues on a dyno either!
