I can keep track of how the last fillup is doing using this methoc. But I use the Fuelly app to keep track of all my fillups and maintenance. So, assuming this is by Tank?
My truck does not display the previous best. It always reads 0.00. I've commented on this before but still havent found the reason.Took me a little time to figure out how to do it.
After tank fill up ….
1. Vehicle info on your display
2. Trip information
3. History
4. Tap tap Update
Your previous Average MPG will move to the left and your new Average MPG will start to the right. This will also reset your Total Average setting in your instrument cluster. The pictures are a little misleading because the MPG numbers are different, but that because I was sitting in the truck in the driveway, with it running and the MPG was changing, both the places will show the same MPG. Do this at each fillup. If you tap Clear
All - All your data will be cleared and it will start over. I don’t see a need to ever do that.
Total Average is total since you tapped Update.
There's a bar meter under the DTE number. On mine it has been fairly accurate (fill up at quarter-tank is ~13.5 gal). I just treat the DTE as entertainment.I would just love to have displayed the traditional analog "meter" display of how much gas is in my tank. I have noticed that the current display of how many miles left in my tank changes seemingly dependent on current mpg average.
Every fill up..I tap update. Are you tapping Update “not clear data”?
That it the only thing that I can think of that would do that. It will only show previous best after you tap update and a new bar starts the right of the current one.
That's awesome! I never made it that far in the manual.Every fill up..I tap update.
I don't have Total Average as one of my options. I'll enable that this weekend and see what happens.Yep, I see that you are. Not sure why you’re not getting the previous best. May a call to connect services and they should be able to get you to the right person to talk to. I fought a dealership would be able to help, apparently some of them don’t even know that a 14” screen is available
Just to see if we can figure this out:
Do you have the Total Average MPG as one of your instrument clusters display, like I do in my pictures? I’m just thinking if you don’t maybe that is keeping it from showing up.
