If I remember correctly Sheldon has moved on to another platform. I don’t think we will hear from him again for the Tacoma.

I doubt anyone is replacing him. The Tacoma has launched and we get what we got. All we have now is the customer service number.

My rear passenger keeps losing more pressure than the other 3, a very slow leak possibly. The TPMS was alerting over a few PSI. I could have sworn I changed the pressure it alerts at. I don't recall if it was in the speedo settings, or with the scanner that can change the hidden options. Next time I'm in the truck I'll look, if y'all don't beat me to it.

Just checked, and yes in the TPMS settings on the speedo, you can change what pressure it alerts to. I lowered it so it would quit pestering me. Not that y'all didn't know that already, but merely a suggestion as it was irritating me also. I realize that doesn't fix it staying on the screen like it's supposed to, but it might help with the needless alerting.

Did a little google search. I did not see an article talking about reassignment or promotion.

Yeah he’s the chief engineer for all of North America. For some reason I thought he was just over trucks. Must have just been a project for him. I have a buddy in Toyota who knows him and he was going to connect us.

My questions would be the following:
  1. Brake recall - what is the actual fix? What does the fix rollout and timeline look like?
  2. Over air update - why hasn’t one occurred? When can we expect one?

I’m pretty sure in one of the last videos that I saw him in, he said he was moving on to a new platform and another country. I don’t remember exactly where or what new vehicle.

New to all this stuff so how does an over the air update work? I don't plan on paying for the app thing when my year of ownership is up - does that mean I am not worthy of the update? Can I expect my very good and sincerely conscientious service department to just do it when I go in for my next service? Thanks, Greg

Mine was like yours when I first got my truck but it’s about 50/50 for the tire pressure screen sticking now.

Don’t ask me why. I don’t see a pattern

as the weather has warmed up it’s now 29 psi and it just went away!

If you look in the options screens I think you can set the trigger point for the alarm. You can probably set it lower if it really bothers you.

It doesn’t really bother me that much but It’s just random when it comes on which tire it latches onto and then when it goes away, it’s just a randomness not the setting. I aired down to 25 and it doesn’t come on at all and I’ve also had the tires come down to 27 from cold weather and only one of them gets the alarm
