Exactly. Here’s another one. If y’all air down at all or if you start your truck on a super cold day - one of the tires might freak out on the tire pressure screen and no matter how high the pressure goes afterwards it keeps telling you to adjust the pressure. It’s super cold in Houston this week and this happened - but it picks 1 tire at random and persists - I realize 28 is low but in a couple days it’ll be back to normal and it’s also not so low that it should trigger the warning (when it first triggered it was 26) also when it warms up it’ll still have the warning - I’m sure I can reset it but why does it do this? I think the last time it did this I had to inflate it with more air to get it to stop freaking out (allowing the temp to rise and naturally increase pressure doesn’t work)

I live in Houston also, and just went through the cold weather. I also run my display with a single large Tachometer in the middle. I have my tire pressure set on the right side of the main Tachometer in the smaller screen option and never had it reset on me. Try moving it, to see if this helps.

I have settings in the middle. How do I even do what you’re saying ?? Sent you a direct message. Maybe we can meet up.

This is how I have mine set up. Sorry, tire pressure was set on the left not right. You can adjust what you want to show on the left middle and right. Absolutely we can meet up, it would be cool to see a fellow trail hunter owner in the Houston area. I have not seen many.

Here is a YouTube video that’s is pretty informative about customizing your instrument cluster.

Wow - I did not even know you could do it that way - can you get turbo boost and electric motor on the same screen?

Update from my previous post: the bug is back and the tire display is again going back to trip B. It worked for 24 hours or so but now it’s back to being annoying.
Didn’t work for be either. It randomly stays. There’s no pattern.

I have my tire pressure on page 3 right side. Been there since I set up my display 2 months ago. This is so weird that some hold setting and some do not. Mine was built 10/31. Not sure if date and possible factory loading different software??

For what it's worth (yet another software developer here), I have a case with toyota customer support. After much back and forth, I finally convinced them it was an issue. There advice was to take it to the dealer so they can document the issue because there's no current fix being worked. When I spoke to the dealer, they asked me to take it in but they did mention no one has mentioned that this has been an issue (maybe that's true locally, but I thought that's odd). I'm going to take it in so they can document it, but I don't think it'll lead to a solution. Maybe if enough of us take the truck in they'll FINALLY address it. I agree it's a small fix (maybe easy, maybe not?) but we'll see where this goes. I don't have a lot of confidence it'll get updated.

For the tire pressure warning, I did find that there's a psi setting in the settings menu where you can set it to use "current PSI" as the mark for good/bad tire pressure. I set that up when I air down for off-roading and I don't get those annoying beeps. Then I go in and reset it when I air back up again.

frustrating they aren’t even working on it. Zero chance my dealer will do a thing and will claim repeatedly it’s normal — that said I’ll make noise with brand engagement and maybe the dealer

Yeah, I had taken it to the service dept and the tech (was nice) but basically said he knows there's nothing they'll do so he didn't document anything. Now I have to take it again to get it documented. But yeah, very little confidence it gets addressed.

love toyota but cannot stand service depts or sales depts — zero fucks given to the customer
