2024 Tacomas (USA) - Sales Figures & Take Rates Data Analysis (as of 1/20/25)

First of all, WOW. This is great info. I'm a software developer so I really appreciate when stuff like this gets put out. I looked up mine and wasn't able to find it either. Just out of curiosity for the people that can't find theirs, are they they premium package? Mine is. I got mine at Right Toyota in Arizona and there is only 1 that shows up in September. I got mine back in May. Maybe that data is too early and wasn't in the same reported data. I'm wondering if there's a common package / feature that isn't showing up. Also, there was no 8 speed so maybe we're looking at tundra data vs tacoma data? Just throwing things out there as a brainstorm. Maybe we can help find the missing VINs. Again, GREAT WORK.

My truck’s VIN returns nothing. My dealer doesn’t even show up in the list of dealers. That might explain why I was never able to track my truck prior to delivery.

Ah yes, that would be why. The data is pulled per dealer and your dealer wasn't included in the data exports.

I ran a scan last night and identified 213 new dealers, I'll try to get them added to the tool so we have more complete data going forward. This partially explains why this data has fewer Tacomas than the reported overall sales for the year... about 17.5% of dealers' inventory are not included!

If you have a 2024, you can try your VIN to see if it comes up with the correct information. Would be helpful to spot-check the dataset.

Found mine. Data is correct. 1 Day on the lot. Not bad sales considering you could barely get one until May.

2nd one sold at dealer plus very rare 6MT with bronze oxide TRD Sport in the nation.
